Industrial style is cutting edge design that reuses elemental materials from old mill buildings and factories – such as exposed brick, rusted metal pipes, hardware and ductwork, stainless steel tables and bar stools and of course, lots of time etched cement walls and floors.
When these surfaces and materials are unavailable, or are too costly, Arteriors can create cement-like finishes from natural plaster and American Clay products, as well as apply faux corroded metal finishes.
Our stainless steel paint finish and etched cement plaster walls are perfectly married in the interior of The Warehouse Restaurant. This exciting new sports bar soon to be opened in Boston, MA by Endever Restaurant Group has a deliciously urban and edgy design and will be a refreshing contrast to the Traditional Bostonian style eateries in the area.
Both of these finishes are unique and created specifically for The Warehouse. Our etched cement finish is made from Marmorino Plaster but is not troweled and burnished in the typical way. The smoky dark gray first layer is not burnished and remains course. The second, slightly lighter colored Marmorino is applied in a random organic pattern. Then then trowel led and burnished, producing an etched cement impression, ideal for an Industrial Chic vibe.
