Our various Cement Wall Finishes have become best buddies with Hospitality Architects and Designers. Made from natural materials and troweled on, these Architectural Finishes are the perfect backdrop for Rustic Contemporary or Urban Chic interiors. Artistic applications of Marmorino Plaster are elemental and organic. They are natural materials derived from ground limestone and sometimes from clays and mineral pigments derived from Earth.

Although not actually made from Cement, they are close cousins and have the same visual attributes due to the natural ingredients of plaster and sand. Pitted surfaces next to the polished sections can be increased or lessened, depending on the level of grittiness desired. Colors can be adjusted, as well as the amount of contrast and movement. Arteriors’ main focus is to “make real” the designer’s vision.

The owners’ vision was to create a Sports Bar sans dark stained panels, brass railings and vintage sports paraphernalia. With their concept for a refreshing Urban Oasis two blocks away from Historic Fanueil Hall, we produced the “Warehouse” signature look. Our Charcoal Gray Etched Stone Finish looks natural and gritty in Boston’s best sports bar.

After the famous Anjelica’s Restaurant in Sea Bright, NJ suffered extensive damage from Super-Storm Sandy, Restaurant owner Ray Lena and designer and daughter Anjelica commissioned us to create a slightly polished Cement Wall Finish. Combined with distressed wood planks and antique pressed plant leaves, the Marmarino Stucco Finish lends a rich organic feel. Undefeated by the storm’s onslaught, Anjelica’s remains a local favorite with a new restaurant interior that speaks of warmth, community and strength.

Rusticpic5-3American Clay is also a perfect green product that mimics concrete and combines beautifully with a sculptural wood plank installation, pictured here on a stairway wall at Dassault Systèmes lobby in Waltham, MA. Designed by architectural firm Elkus Manfredi, the two large lobbies at the 3-D imaging company’s flagship complex are part of an award-winning 27-acre campus and is heralded as a showcase for sustainable innovation. Our Cement Wall Finish, applied over 900 square feet of accent walls, contributed to a Gold LEED Construction Certification. Arteriors’ utilized the manipulative qualities of this 100% organic material to produce this version of an artisanal cement-like wall finish.

Elkus Manfredi designer, Linda MacLeod,  collaborated with Arteriors to produce this finish to be a visually seamless element in the monumental stairway at Brightcove. The designer relied on us as a resource for accurately producing a cement wall finish that was a perfect match. We were happy to oblige!
